Review : Great set for beginner/youth/female/mature
I bought this set for my wife and was pleasantly surprised. These bells are cast iron, nicely finished and sport a vinyl dip coating (up to the handles) that are easier on your floors. The handles are pretty smooth so they won’t tear up your hands though I would have preferred a slightly rougher surface for grip. Overall quality is excellent and included shipping makes them a great value. Unfortunately the packaging is sadly lacking with the bells individually bagged in thin plastic with only a cardboard barrier between them and two packing straps holding the box together. Box arrived a little beat but the bells were not scuffed or damaged. The included “exercise workout program chart” is pretty much a joke. It’s a folded sheet of what feels like newspaper with a couple of bell exercises and a couple of regular dumbell exercises (bicep curl, bent row, etc.). Thankfully there are plenty of sites with info and quite a few good books on kettlebell training from beginner to advanced here…
