Review : Good Basic Kettlebell
After looking at all the various 25-pound kettlebells on Amazon I purchased this one. I finally choose this one because 1) it had a wide handle, which is nice when you’re using two hands, 2) it’s coated, but it WASN’T vinyl coated (vinyl coating is nice on lower weight dumbbells, but I don’t particularly like it on heavier weights because it’s easier to slip out of your hands when they get sweaty), 3) the price was competitive (I paid shipping on this item, but the total was equal to or less than several other kettlebells that included free shipping).
I am satisfied with my purchase and with the seller. If it were possible, I might deduct one-half star because the seam under the handle isn’t perfect. It’s not really bothersome, but I can feel a very slight edge. This might very well vary from kettlebell to kettlebell. This is true of most kettlebells I’ve used (I wish manufacturers would spend three minutes and grind the seam down completely before coating them)…
