The kettlebell has long been a favorite for those seeking a special edge in strength and endurance. Kettlebell training develops strength, power, endurance and balance. Working out with kettlebells will sculpt and tone the entire body because lifting and controlling a kettlebell forces the entire body, and specifically the core, to contract as a group, building both strength and stability at the same time. Kettlebell workouts engage multiple muscle groups at once. They are a great option for getting a whole body workout in a short time. Made of solid cast iron, these kettlebells are both versatile and durable. The swing’s the thing! Just back from the gym. My 60 lb. CAP kettlebell arrived this afternoon in pristine condition and was there to greet me when I returned from work. I uncrated it, loaded it in the car, and took it to the gym with me this evening for a nice recovery workout of 5000 meters on the erg, 20 minutes of uphill running, and 150 swings with my new acquisition. Delightful! Perfectly balanced, a large and thick handle for my big hands, and a high shine to make people take notice (and they did take notice)…
60lb Kettlebell Kicks My Butt This kettlebell is no joke. I jumped from a 40lb to this 60lb and couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase and workouts. I’m using it every workout now doing the basic movements to build more core and leg strength, and it’s working wonders.
In Soviet Russia, kettle snatches YOU It’s cast iron, no pad on the bottom, all business. I’ve seen nicer ones but nothing anywhere near this price. This is the first kettle I’ve ever purchased for myself after years of using them at the gym, so the grip is a bit slick due to the lack of wear. Expect that to change once I suffer with it for a while.I got the 60 pounder, which feels right for swings and cleans/snatches as a big guy with some experience. Not sure about other sizes.
